Inside the stopped clock where my faded memories lay
I am there, vague and can’t be found by anyone
The swaying dreams get further away little by little
I want it to the point where it wears out
For me, who has nothing remaining
Set me free let me be – I can’t breathe
Set me free let me be – I’m sick of this now
Set me free let me be – I’m too exhausted
Set me see let me be – I can’t take any more of this
Set me free Set me free
The one thing I hope for, the thing I can’t bear to say
I’ll probaby bury it, the words too heavy for me

140304 Vogue Girl - A Role Model to Girls, 12 Women: 12 Sweet Girls’ Taste
Translation by me:
Question 1: Express myself in one word.
Younha: Younha, my real name is Go Younha. But the two letters called 윤하 [Younha] are what represent me.
Q 2: I believe my taste is defined as…
Younha: I choose what I like and enjoy it.
Q 3: Personal taste…
Younha: Piano, sweet jazz, hot rock music, wine, neck pillow, hand warmers, electric blanket, a handful of nuts, very spicy tteokbokki, a floating cloud, bicycle, white sneakers, checked patterns.
Q 4: Others’ taste…
Younha: A person having extraordinary skills expressing their field and genre as a person [?]. For example, like senior Kim Chang Wan. Like “The Old Potter” [book from 1944], people with craftsmanship for their own work are admirable.
Q 5: A book I’d like to give someone…
Younha: My heart is mine, so why might it be at my disposal? As such, for me, the book I would like to recommend is author Kang Shin-Joo’s <Lessons in Emotion>.
Q 6: My own set list…
Younha: For switching the mood, Owl City’s “Hey Anna.” A late morning urban driving song is Jessie Ware’s “Wildest Moments.” When I want to shake off a complex mood, Oasis’ “Stand by Me.”
Q 7: My Healing Space…
Younha: Our house veranda; Coming back home after radio progress, turning on music and looking at Teheranno’s night scene; The buildings with their lights turned off and a quiet street; It seems like it says “There was an effort today” if you see the city in rest.
Q 8: The travel destination I would like to leave to right now…
Younha: New York Manhattan. The purpose of the trip “Broadway musical Perfect Crime.”
Q 9: Signature fashion styling…
Younha: A basic T-shirt and comfortable jean pants all year round. Comfortable walking shoes. In winter, a coat that covers the whole body and a thick scarf to bury my face in. In the summer, a hat and sun glasses.
Q 10: The recommended fashion styling for a boyfriend…
Younha: A humble person is better than someone who boasts a luxurious fashion sense. Neatly washed clothing, that’ll do.
Q 11: Soul food & secret recipe…
Younha: I make and eat sukiyaki at home. It’s surprisingly easy. Just fresh vegetables, fresh beef, and katsuobushi becomes broth. Ah! The hardest thing is the sauce. You take and eat the egg yolk, so the yolk is not challenging to separate out.
Q 12: The most important thing in life…
Younha: “Boys, Be Ambitious!” Whether from a childhood teacher or from the TV, those words used to come out a lot. It seems to be so cliche and [고리타분?], these words lately strike my heart like “Bang.” I want to ignite the disappeared ambition again.
So I’m, like, infinitely proud to be a New Yorker because of her answer to Question 8. I flailed. A lot.

This is BASICALLY everything I find attractive about people. Not gunna lie. Appetite, passion,
and sitting at a hot spring only wrapped in a towel looking fine as ever.
On the May 25th broadcast of ‘Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook’, Yoon Jong Shin was lightheartedly teased by Yoo Hee Yeol about Younha’s rejection when he commented,"Yoon Jong Shin recently offered a song to Younha and it was rejected. To put it simply, he was ‘dissed' and 'brushed off'”, drawing laughter.
Yoon Jong Shin explained, "I create songs using my acoustic guitar, and before I did the arranging, I sent the song in question to Younha right away. I kept saying ‘isn’t the song good?’, but when she heard it, she replied, ‘What is this?’"
Yoo Hee Yeol proposed an explanation for her response as he said, "I think I know what this is about. It might be because of the guide vocal’s recording. It probably sounded like it’s in another language," continuing to poke fun at Yoon Jong Shin, since he also did the guide vocal for the song as well.
she replied, “What is this?”
"WHAT IS THIS"
oh my word.
Can I just say I am pretty sure this is my most popular post.
If you’re sad and having a hard time, you should listen to this and read along with the lyrics. Because upbeat comfort is nice. “아픈 슬픔/Painful Sadness”
My article deadline for this month is coming up so I’m just going to write a review of Younha’s Subsonic mini album because I have a lot of feelings about it and I have nothing else to write about. I’m only just starting right now because they didn’t pay me until JUST NOW for my article last month (I had to remind them - not the first time this has happened) and I was not too thrilled about that.
