I’m taking this time to appreciate how much I loved my sideburns before I cut them off. Since I plan on getting really good at cutting hair (eventually for additional income), I am using myself as a test subject. I never used the left/right ear taper guards on anyone before, and I wanted to see what they did. I like how short the sides are, but they came at the expense of my favorite thing: my pointy sideburns.
Dream-come-true for a rock/mineral collector! Today was amazing and I can’t wait to add these to my collection. The top photo is of my sisters and me in the “Crystal Quest.” The bottom is what I got from it!!!
I went to the store the other day to find a regular, cheap rash guard. I came home with this one instead. I am one step closer to being Spider-Man, and it feels great.
I feel like everyone has already taken a special 2014 selfie and I’m just over here wearing my onesie pajamas all day every day while hardcore staring at my computer and being weird by myself.
"Annelise that was fricken you wasn’t it"
"omg no sorry go back to sleep shhh"
"Okay Annelise pet me I’m tired"
I accidentally dropped my bag and woke him up but he got real sleepy cute right after so it’s all good.
So, today could not have been any more perfect. I went to Randall’s Island Park to see my absolute most favorite singer in the whole entire world, Younha.
The whole front half of the seats were blocked off when I got there, and I soon learned that they were “VIP” seats. Of course, I needed to get in there to be in the front row which was almost completely empty. Running around during the first band’s set trying to find answers and pay whatever cost necessary to be “VIP,” no staff knew anything whatsoever.
I accepted my fate; At least I was there, and I would be able to see Younha. Amazing things can’t always be perfect, right?
After that first band finished, there was a rush of people from my seating section into the supposedly “VIP” section. Naturally, I followed. And voila! Front row seating was there to greet me. For free. (Did I mention the concert was free, too?)
After a looong while of speeches, celebrities, and freezing cold windy weather, it was finally time for Younha to perform. My brain is currently void of any better synonyms for “happy,” but I think you know how I felt. Anyway, I recorded the whole set and am uploading the videos to YouTube as we speak.
When she was done, I began to make my way out to the parking lot… when a bright white blazer and shiny silver pants caught my eye…
Long story short, take a look at this picture. That happened.
Yeah. My day was perfect.
